Hart began a small seed packaging company for New England gardeners out of the back kitchen of the family home in Old Wethersfield, Connecticut. Six generations later, his great-great grandsons are managing the family company; still family owned and located in Old Wethersfield, Connecticut. From those simple beginnings, the company now offers a full line of vegetable and flower seed, lawn seed, fertilizers and other landscape products for home owners, farmers, landscape professionals and golf courses. Many things have evolved over the years, but the Hart family’s dedication to quality products and service to their customers remains constant. Their mission statement is simple:
